Volunteers are essential to our existence and ability to serve the Columbia community and no amount of time donated goes unappreciated. Follow the steps below to start helping Rainbow House today!

Step Up & Volunteer With Rainbow House!
1: Download the Volunteer Application and fill it out. Individuals must be 18 years old to volunteer.
2: Download the Worker Registration Form from the Missouri Department of Health's Family Care Safety Registry. Print it, fill it out, and attach a copy of your Social Security card to submit to Rainbow House for background check purposes.
3: Download the Medical Examination Report for Residential Child Care and print it out. To meet Rainbow House licensing requirements, all volunteers must submit results of a general physical exam and a tuberculosis test. This examination must be performed by a licensed physician on a biennial basis (once every two years).
4: Download, print out, and fill out the following forms:

Don't forget! You will need a copy of your driver's license and Social Security Card to complete your application!

We are open to suggestions as to other ways that we can enhance the lives of the children and families that we serve here at Rainbow House. If you have a special talent or ability we would love to talk with you about that!
