Step Up & Volunteer With Rainbow House!
1: Download the Volunteer Application
Fill out, print and attach a copy of your Social Security card and driver’s license to submit to Rainbow House for background check purposes. Do not submit the Worker’s Registration Form to the state. We will take care of the background at no charge to you. Simply include the form with the rest of your application.
Individuals must be 18 years old to volunteer. To meet Rainbow House licensing requirements, all volunteers must submit results of a general physical exam and a tuberculosis test. This examination must be performed by a licensed physician once every two years. Forms are included in the application.

Don’t forget! You will need a copy of your driver’s license and Social Security Card to complete your application!
Once you complete the application, we will meet with you for an interview to discuss the possibility of you volunteering with us.
We are open to suggestions as to other ways that we can enhance the lives of the children and families that we serve here at Rainbow House. If you have a special talent or ability, we would love to talk with you about that!
Group volunteer opportunities are available!
Some things are just better together! Whether you’re with your coworkers, friends, or fellow members of your civic organization, volunteering can be a great team-building experience.
How many people can we bring?
Due to space limitations in the House and concern for the privacy and well-being of our families, please limit your volunteer group to 15 or less.
We can also provide suggestions for projects that can be done at your workplace.
